By Richard | January 24, 2010

Wow! I was surprised at just how much green screens are used in TV and Movies.

This video gives a variety of examples, some of which you may recognize from scenes that you have personally seen.

Beyond the Still

By Richard | January 19, 2010

Let’s start with a still photo, tell the start of a story with video, and end with a still photo.

Next person starts with the final photo of the previous episode and continues the story.

Here is the first instalment. Very cool! (p.s. scroll down to see the “behind the scenes video”)

Jumping From A Building

By Richard | January 18, 2010

When I was in my early teens we used to jump from the upper story windows of unfinished houses nearby. There were usually piles of sand which were used to soften the landing.

How would you like to jump from the 160th floor of a skyscraper? That is what these two guys did. The building is the Burj Dubai, currently the world’s tallest.

What a rush that must have been.
