Airplane Traffic Patterns
By Richard | November 17, 2009
This video is very interesting.
It shows all the commercial airplane traffic over a 24 hour period, all compressed into just over 1 minute. Each yellow dot represents one plane. Notice especially the traffic between the eastern part of the U.S. and Europe, and how it changes direction depending on the time of the day.
