I have nicknamed this gal the “dancing violinist”. She also gained the name “Hip Hop Violinist”.

The song is made up of 3 violin parts and three vocal tracks. Lindsey Stirling did both the vocals and the violin.

Lindsey is an American violinist, performance artist, and composer. In 2010 she competed on the fifth season of America’s Got Talent, where she reached the quarter finals.

Thanks to my daughter Stephanie for introducing me to Lindey’s video.

I am becoming very interested in video creation. At the most recent Henry’s Show here in Toronto, I attended a 45 minute seminar about making a music video, using just one dSLR. In particular, they used a Canon T2i. An $850 SLR.

I could get into more detail, but this site is come and view, not come and learn, so here is the video. (keep in mind they used an $850 camera, spent another $50 renting a high quality lens, and spent another $400 on rent and miscellaneous costs; the video guy already owned the camera)

The song is HAARD’s first release Confidential off the album Savour the Flavour 2010.
